This week we have been learning how to answer the question ¿Cómo estás? (How are you?) in Spanish. We've learned 5 different words that we can use to express how we're feeling:
bien = good así-así = okay mal = bad feliz = happy triste = sad We also learned a movement that goes with each vocabulary word. Have your child say the words for you and show you the movements too! For a fun way to practice these vocabulary words at home, look at pictures of people in a book or magazine and have your child say the Spanish word that matches how the person is feeling. Or, you can give the child a situation in English and then ask them ¿Cómo estás? (koh-moh eh-stahs) For example: You just kicked the winning goal in your soccer game. ¿Cómo estás? See if they can come up with some situations for you too!
